There's Nobody Stronger Than A Single Mom

Being a single mom is not easy. Sometimes, after tiring and stressful times, all you need is some motivation to keep going.

This is the most difficult aspect of being a single mom apart from the financial challenges. You have to pamper your precious children as a mother and also scold them like a father when they go wrong.

As a single mom you have to be there for your children. They need your presence far more than any gifts you might buy for them. Children need quality time. You have to avail yourself to them as much as possible.

Let me ask you guys a question!

When you look at a single mom, what is it that you see?
A strong woman that can raise children on her own?
or an incomplete broken family?

You see to me a single mom
is a strong individual that has no choice but to raise her children on her own,
And I’m sure I speak for many single mom when I say that we didn’t plan to bring up our children alone

Do we choose to be a single mom?
That’s usually not the case.
But who do we blame? Do we blame the mothers or do we blame the fathers for this stereotyped race?

Me personally, raising my son as a single parent was never easy as i had him at a very young age,
But in this world that we now live in, it’s usually hard work to get the natural fathers to positively engage!

So what do we do?

We have to take on a role that we were never built to do,
Instead of being one parent of a family we end up playing the roles of two

Not to mention the worry of when our child gets ill then having to play the parts of two people
It’s so hard bringing up children in a role when we already know it should be equal.

So what next?

I know a lot of us worry thinking which man would want to take up our child as their own
But there’s many many many men out there who God has given the grace to be stepfathers so that we don’t have to do it alone.

The hard work that being a single mom will surely not be in vain,
God sees it all..

No matter what life brings you, always keep a smile on your face. I know that life can get hard, especially if you are a single mom like me.

But when it does get hard, remember that you are everything to your child. You are his comfort, his safe haven, his teacher, his friend and his biggest love.

Children are a mirror of our soul, they reflect all of our actions. If you are happy, so will be your child. If you are a single mom, it really is twice the work, twice the tears and twice the stress, but it is also twice the kisses, twice the hugs, twice the love and twice the pride♥
